Bee Psyched is an establishing psychology practice looking for a registered psychologist to join our team in Hornsby NSW 2077. Clinical Psychology Registrars and Clinical Psychologists are also encouraged to apply.

About the role
Bee Psyched is looking for a Registered Psychologist to provide effective, trauma-informed treatment to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to clients;
Liaising with our administration team, referrers, and third parties;
Managing your case load and other responsibilities inherent to a psychologist's role;
Increasing awareness of our practice by attending meet and greets with GPs and other referrers, if needed;
Familiarity with our online booking system (Zanda) to manage appointments and client attendance;
Attending regular peer supervision and/or board-approved supervision, as required; and
Attending regular team meetings.

What you offer
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar) who meets the following requirements:
Holds General Registration with AHPRA (including Clinical Psychology Registrars and Clinical Psychologists);
Has a Medicare Provider Number (or applicability to have one);
Has a SIRA registration number to see clients under Workcover and CTP (or is willing to complete training to obtain registration);
Practices in a trauma-informed way or is willing to familiarise themselves with this approach (training provided);
Ability to build referral relationships with GPs (and other allied health professionals) and conduct meet and greets with GPs/referrers, if needed;
Proven ability to build rapport with clients;
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
Ability to juggle responsibilities and use practice management software (training provided);
Professional Indemnity Insurance;
Current Working with Children's Check; and
Recent Police Check.
Desired qualities:
Previous experience working in private practice;
Previous experience treating trauma-affected individuals;
Experience in, and willingness to conduct, cognitive assessments for ADHD and learning difficulties;
Registered Victim Services, NDIS, and/or ADF provider;
Clinical experience and competence providing therapy to young children, families, and/or couples; and
Clinical experience and competence in alternative therapeutic modalities, e.g., EMDR, neurofeedback, play therapy.
