Job requirement Candidates must have completed a 4-year university degree in Nursing to be eligible for this post. They must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of related experience, preferably in a geriatric-gerontology or long-term care setting, to be preferred for this post. They must have post-basic preparation in gerontology is desirable and must have membership in the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) is desirable to be eligible for this post.

Candidates must have dedicated Canadian Gerontological Certification from the Canadian Nurses Association to be eligible for this post. Work setting They must have prior knowledge of the Scope and purpose of gerontological nursing and functions/activities related to the nursing process. Candidates must know about age-related changes and must know ethical dilemmas and considerations.
