Registered Nurse

Part-Time Evening (2:00pm – 10:00pm) Opportunity to Support the Central West and Mississauga Region Pay per client visit: competitive rate paid per visit, with additional payment for visits longer than 1 hour 59 minutes. This model allows flexibility to work ahead in your day while maintaining professional judgment for client care. Full-time nurses will have a guaranteed 70 visits biweekly for income certainty.

Responsibilities Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and client’s unique needs. Act as primary provider for a client caseload, serving as point-of-care lead while collaborating with other care team members and support functions. Support clients through care transitions by collaborating and connecting them with community support services.

Requirements Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) specialty certification is an asset. Enthusiasm and love of community care with passion for evidence-informed practice and excellence.

Current CPR certificate. Valid driver’s license and vehicle (travel required). Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check required upon hire.

Willingness to attain required Saint Elizabeth certifications. Availability to work weekdays, evenings, nights and every other weekend. Job is physically demanding: hand, arm, shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting up to 55 pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, frequent movement.
