Seeking Charge Nurse! Baptist Health Floyd, 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am)

Sign On Bonus Eligible for Experienced External Candidates Only $$ Responsible for acting as a resource nurse for the department. This is an entry-level leadership position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts. He/she will provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in the area of patient care. This position will work alongside the team and provide direct patient care while determining needed staffing fluctuations during shifts, responding to departmental concerns, address immediate staff issues and coordinate patient flow. This position has immediate oversight of employees while performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads. About the Unit:

The Innovation Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas for the hospital. Nurses will care for a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. The Innovation Unit serves as a wonderful opportunity for new graduate LPN and RNs to start nursing careers and is complimented by seasoned nurses who share their expertise. Graduate of an approved nursing program, holding a minimum of an ASN Current Indiana or compact state RN License.

BLS for Healthcare Providers required. One year of nursing experience required; Professional/Specialty certification required as per unit/department standards. Baptist Health Floyd is a Pathway to Excellence designated organization.
