As a Registered Nurse you will do just that by spending quality time with residents and their families developing a close understanding of their needs. You’ll create a safe and supportive environment for residents, using your professional judgement to make clinical decisions.
You’ll lead, supervise and direct the care team making sure our close‑knit team works together to make our home feel warm and our residents comfortable and safe. In this role, it’s not just about providing leadership and care it’s about creating moments of joy, dignity, and connection. You’ll help write the small, meaningful chapters in someone’s story, and in return you'll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for what you do.
Please note, that all our roles are subject to an enhanced police check (Disclosure Barring Service – DBS) before employment commences.
This role is for 43 hours a week, inclusive of an unpaid break. The pattern will be – one week you will be working 3 shifts a week, the next 4 shifts a week.
What you will do in this Splendid role
You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. You'll also get too:
- Lead the care team making sure we are meeting residents medical, physical and emotional requirements
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring that new needs are met and care plans amended
- Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, completing regular audits
- Mentor and motivate the care team by completing regular supervision
- Champion resident dignity which is person centered and respectful of individual choices
- Provide comfort and reassurance when residents need a little extra care

You’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up‑to‑date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse. You’ll also need to have experience of working in a clinical setting.
