Overview
An exciting opportunity at the Royal Northern Infirmary (RNI) for a Registered Nurse (NMC) in the UK. The post is on the community and rehab ward situated on the banks of the River Ness in Inverness. The client group is mainly older adults rehabbing after an acute admission. The ward includes community access beds for patients admitted directly from the community.
Responsibilities- Provide rehab-focused nursing care for older adults on the community and rehab ward.
- Support complex discharge assessments and meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
- Assist patients and families through the discharge planning process and coordinate with community services as required.
- Be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a 24/7/365 ward environment, including unsocial hours (nights, weekends, public holidays).
- Registered Nurse (RN) with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in rehab-focused care is advantageous; candidate should be capable of supporting complex discharge planning.
