Registered Nurse (Med/Surg)

Day & Night Shift Available $36 - $55/hr Full Time Job Summary: Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit . The Med/Surg RN will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care. Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies. Serve as an advocate for patient needs and ensure a positive patient experience. Qualifications: Active RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Previous experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting preferred.
