Overview

Full-Time Registered Nurse โ€“ General Practice role based at Lockridge Medical Centre. Location: Lockridge. Position: Full-Time (38 hours per week). Start Date: Immediate.

GP Registered Nurse โ€“ Full-Time (38 Hours per Week). We are a friendly, community-focused clinic seeking a dedicated GP Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis, with one rotating Saturday shift per month. This role offers a collaborative environment where your skills, initiative, and leadership potential are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality nursing care within a General Practice setting.
  • Immunisations and vaccine administration.
  • Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and health assessments.
  • Assisting with procedures and patient education.
  • Cold chain management and maintaining vaccine compliance.
  • Ordering and managing clinical stock and vaccines.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software.
  • Supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to the nursing team when required.
  • Working collaboratively with the Nursing Manager, GPs, allied health professionals, and administration staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Up-to-date immunisations in accordance with healthcare worker requirements.
  • Sound understanding of vaccine storage and Cold Chain Management.
  • A genuine interest in Chronic Disease Management (CDM).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • An interest in developing leadership skills and supporting the nursing team when required.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a General Practice setting desirable.
  • Current Immunisation Certificate.
  • Experience using Best Practice clinical software.
  • Experience with clinical stock and vaccine ordering.
