About the Role In this position, you will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You'll utilize critical thinking, collaborate with providers, and work to the top of your license in a rural, resourceful hospital setting. Key Responsibilities
* Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments * Develop and prioritize care plans, including patient education and discharge planning * Implement nursing interventions per provider orders and established protocols * Monitor and evaluate patient progress and outcomes * Document care in accordance with standards and clinical priorities * Provide care for patients with conditions common to assigned units * Serve as a mentor and role model for staff and students
Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Active Washington State RN license * BLS certification (within 3 months of hire) * ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire) * EPIC experience required
Preferred
* PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications (within 6 months) * At least 6 months of experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
