  • Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination
  • For internationally educated nurses, a completed education credential assessment through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) or a CRNA-approved credential assessment service
  • Demonstrated English Language Proficiency where required (for example, IELTS or CELBAN)
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada, or willingness to pursue this with support
  • Experience or interest in mental health, addictions, interventional psychiatry, or multi-program clinical nursing is an asset

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead, support, and help oversee nursing care across our PAPT, PDTS, and SUD programs
  • Provide clinical guidance and day-to-day leadership to the nursing team
  • Help maintain compliance with CRNA, CPSA, and Government of Alberta program standards, including infection prevention and control (IPC) practices across the clinic
  • See and assess patients directly across programs, including intake, treatment support, and follow-up
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with CRNA and applicable program standards
  • Support broader clinic operations and treatment coordination alongside our physicians and administrative team

  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

All staff are generally required to provide and maintain a satisfactory Police Information Check, a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, and at a minimum a current Basic Life Support certification, unless the clinic determines that an exception applies based on the role's duties, level of client contact, programme involvement, work setting, and operational requirements. Where appropriate, the clinic may accept an equivalent, current, or otherwise satisfactory screening, certification, or related credentialing component already held through a regulatory body, professional college, employer, hospital, or other recognised source. Additional screening, certification, or programme-specific requirements may apply depending on the position and assigned services.
