Key Responsibilities The registered Nurse will provide a high‑quality service of care to patients and significant others and promote a good learning environment. Supporting the Senior Nurse for Chemotherapy / Immunotherapy Services in all aspects of that role, as well as collaborating with other members of the team. • The successful candidate will be aware of resource management and provide effective links within the Trust and undertake and assist in the safe administration of cytotoxic chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies within the Oncology Haematology client group, whilst also providing ongoing support to patients and their carers. • The post holder will ensure nursing care within the John Bush Supportive Unit is of high standard and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures and standards and adheres to the Unit's philosophy. • They will also contribute to the general improvement of services.

Locations The John Bush Supportive Unit treats patients with a wide variety of systemic anti‑cancer therapies and operates Monday to Friday, working closely with other units on site and at our acute trust site. Mount Vernon is one of the largest single‑site cancer centres in England.
