Registered Nurse - CVPICU

DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility. RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post Required: • CA License • 2 years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment • PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained • Heart transplant experience • Willing to float between units • BLS • PALS • Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation • Flu shot Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED.

The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center. Shifts: (discussed in interview) • 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available • Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun. • 13 week contracts Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays (contract can't end before New Years) No RTO requests allowed during this timeframe: 12/22-12/28 *Self scheduling! Ratio:1:1-2 Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.
