Registered nurse

Job Summary Comfi‑kare Home Care is seeking a registered nurse to join our team. The nurse must live in Silver Spring, MD or nearby areas and be willing to drive up to 25–30 miles radius around their home. We serve Montgomery County and the nearby areas of Howard and Prince Gorges County, MD.

Responsibilities Complete Start of Care Assessments. Execute 60‑day caregiver assessments. Provide caregiver training and lead “lunch and learn” events with rehab facilities for a non‑medical Home Care Agency.

On‑board caregivers and train them on assigned tasks. Document training in caregivers’ charts and perform other duties as assigned. Work as needed during office hours and on some Saturdays, Mondays, and additional days as assigned.

Compensation Pay rates: $60 per hour for office hours; $160 for each Start of Care (plus mileage starting from your home). 60‑day caregiver assessments pay $60 for 15 minutes (plus mileage). A free home assessment pays $60 for 45 minutes (plus mileage) and an additional $100 if the client signs the agreement. Qualifications Registered Nurse with a Maryland license.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; preference for an associate degree in nursing and experience in home or medical‑surgical nursing. Excellent personality, strong drive, flexible, and a team player. Ideal candidate is a female nurse seeking light, part‑time work (not full‑time day job during 7 am–3 pm).
