Registered Nurse - BMT (Hiring Immediately)

**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post** Requirements: - CA RN License - 3 years of pediatric hem/onc inpatient or outpatient experience - children's hospital experience preferred but not required - Central Line experience and IV start - BLS (AHA) - PALS (AHA) - APHON Shift/Hours: 4x10 Variable Days (Mon-Fri - Varied start times, but mostly 0800-1830 and 0900-1930) Requested Time Off: Max 6 days The HemOnc clinic is closed on July 4th and Labor Day Unit Summary: Patient Population: Average 60 to 80 patients per day. Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Oncology: neuroblastoma, anemia, leukemia/lymphoma, solid tumor, brain tumor.

Hematology: hemophilia/ITP/sickle cell anemia. Skills: IV therapy, sedation recovery for lumbar puncture and bone marrow aspirate procedures/ central lines, administration of blood products, biologics and chemotherapeutic agents.
