About this exciting opportunity

The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to translate operational needs into practical software solutions while contributing to system design, prototyping, testing, validation, and ongoing support. The ReefScan System Developer also provides technical guidance, documents software components to promote maintainability, and supports troubleshooting and continuous improvement of the ReefScan platform. By identifying and resolving technical issues, adhering to established software architecture and standards, and upholding AIMS' Code of Conduct, Strategy 2040, and organisational values, the role contributes to the delivery of innovative, reliable technologies that strengthen reef monitoring and conservation efforts.

About you

  • AIMS AOF Level 5 salary ($126,440 to $138,614 per annum) plus 15.4% superannuation
  • Full-time, Temporary (Labour hire) opportunity to 30 June 2028
  • Located in Townsville (Qld)
  • 9-day fortnight, enjoy a long weekend each fortnight
