Reach Truck Driver

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Reach Truck Driver to join their busy warehouse operation based in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a day-shift position operating on a 5 days over 7 roster, offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled warehouse professional looking to join a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of reach truck equipment, stock management, order fulfilment, and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach Truck safely and efficiently in line with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Load, unload, move, and store stock within the warehouse.
• Complete stock put-away and replenishment activities.
• Accurately pick orders and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Perform regular inventory and stock checks.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and safely.
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Reach Truck Licence.
• Previous Reach Truck driving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster of 5 days over 7.

Desirable Experience

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience within logistics, FMCG, or distribution environments.
• Manual Handling Certification.
