Reach Truck FLT Driver - Night Shift

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour - 14.66 per hour
Night Shift Allowance: Additional £1.66 per hour when working nights
Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for weekends when needed

Reach Truck FLT Driver Required - Weedon, NN7

Quest Employment are currently recruiting for a Reach Truck FLT Driver to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing warehouse based in Weedon, NN7.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and flexible candidate with Reach Truck experience who is happy to complete full warehouse duties as well as FLT work.

Please note, this is not an FLT-only role. The successful candidate must be comfortable working on and off the truck, including picking, packing, goods receipt, material movement, stock control, dispatch and warehouse documentation.

A DBS check will be required for this role. The site will cover the cost, but candidates must be aware that the DBS process must be completed before starting.

Training and Shift Pattern

Candidates must be available to complete the full training programme before moving onto the permanent night shift.

Week 1 Training:
Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:30pm

Week 2 Training:
Monday to Friday | 6:15am - 1:45pm

Week 3 onwards - Permanent Night Shift:
Monday to Friday | 9:45pm - 6:15am

Breaks are 30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid.

Weekend flexibility may be required depending on operational needs. If weekend work is required, days off will be given during the week.

The Role

As a Reach Truck FLT Driver / Warehouse Operator, your duties may include:

• Operating a Reach Truck FLT safely within the warehouse

• Moving, loading, unloading and retrieving pallets and materials

• Putting stock away into designated warehouse locations

• Retrieving materials safely from racking

• Completing pre-use FLT checks

• Reporting FLT defects or safety concerns

• Supporting goods receipt and checking deliveries

• Moving raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods

• Picking and packing stock accurately

• Preparing materials for production and dispatch

• Supporting sampling activities where required

• Carrying out stock checks, cycle counts and inventory tasks

• Completing warehouse documentation accurately

• Working in line with GMP, GDP and site procedures

• Maintaining high housekeeping standards

• Supporting general warehouse duties when required

What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have Reach Truck FLT experience

• Hold a Reach Truck licence, expired or internal licences may be considered

• Are comfortable working on and off the FLT

• Are happy completing picking, packing and general warehouse duties

• Have previous warehouse experience

• Can follow written procedures and complete documentation accurately

• Have good attention to detail

• Are reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

• Are willing to complete daytime training before moving onto nights

• Are comfortable working permanent night shifts

• Are flexible for overtime and weekend work when required

• Are comfortable completing a DBS check before starting

• Are looking for a temp-to-perm opportunity

Desirable Experience

• Pharmaceutical warehouse experience

• GMP or GDP knowledge

• SAP, WMS or warehouse system experience

• Experience working with raw materials, packaging materials or finished goods

• Stock control, stocktake or inventory experience
