Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday | between 08:00 - 17:30 (40 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Reach / Bendi Truck Driver (Warehouse Goods In Operative - Tamworth) to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.

The Role

This is a varied warehouse position combining FLT Reach/Bendi driving with general warehouse responsibilities. Approximately 30% of the role will involve operating the forklift truck, with the remainder focused on supporting goods in, stock control, and customer order fulfilment.

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you'll play an important role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately while maintaining excellent customer service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Reach Truck or Bendi (Aisle Master) safely and efficiently
• Receiving, checking, and booking in incoming deliveries
• Carrying out goods-in inspections and organising stock within the warehouse
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing pallets and orders ready for dispatch
• Supporting fast-track and priority customer orders
• Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
• Identifying, resolving, and reporting stock or operational issues to the Warehouse Manager
• Ensuring products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Valid Reach Truck or Bendi (Aisle Master) forklift licence
• Minimum 5 year's warehouse experience.
• Previous experience in goods-in, stock control, picking, packing, and order preparation
• Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive approach
• Comfortable working within a friendly, family-run business
