Job Description
Our client, a dynamically growing company in the automotive industry focused on providing advanced technological solutions for leading automotive brands, is seeking a candidate for the position of: Quotation Specialist!
What will your tasks involve?
Initial assessment and qualification of customer inquiries in the automotive sector (e.g., development projects, system and software scopes).
Maintenance of inquiries and offers in the system, ensuring high data quality.
Coordination of interdisciplinary bidding teams along the automotive value chain, as well as timely collection and follow-up of all content-related and calculative contributions.
Creation of competitive offers for automotive projects, including customer-specific documents (e.g., price sheets, CBDs - Cost Breakdown Sheets).
Preparation and follow-up of best-price rounds and negotiations with OEMs and suppliers.
What we expect from you?
First experience in bid preparation, project responsibility, or comparable roles - ideally in the automotive or engineering environment.
- Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English is desirable
Strong moderation skills and enjoyment in bringing different stakeholders together (e.g., development, sales, purchasing).
Structured way of working as well as sound project and process understanding, especially in the context of complex automotive projects.
Technical understanding in the field of vehicle development/systems engineering as well as commercial acumen.
