Job Purpose

The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that all products and processes comply with Amcor’s quality standards and applicable industry regulations. Through rigorous testing, inspections, audits, and process control, the role ensures customer satisfaction, supports supplier quality, and drives continuous improvement.

• Part of a 19‑person local HR team.
  

Principal Accountabilities

• 
  
• Investigate internal and external complaints, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate timely corrective actions.
  
• Contact with customers for quality reasons looking for better resolution and customer satisfaction (claims and improvements).
  
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss customer/production quality performance, address concerns, and align on expectations.
  
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with Amcor standards and industry regulations.
  
• Monitor and analyse process data to detect trends, prevent deviations, and ensure data‑driven decision making.
  

Qualifications / Requirements

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Food Safety and Quality, or related technical fields.
  
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar quality role in the process, packaging, or food industry.
  
• Advanced English (B2 level) – written and spoken.
  
• Understanding of quality systems & standards.
  
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel (intermediate/advanced).
  
• Experience with or knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  
• Ability to analyse quality data and apply statistical tools.
  
• Skilled in preparing technical reports and quality documentation. xqbhyrx
