Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full Time A well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional to play a key role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high manufacturing standards within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to ensure product quality, improve processes, and support ongoing operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS) Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using methodologies such as 8D and RCA Conduct internal audits and support external customer and supplier audits Investigate non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve quality performance Analyse quality data and provide KPI reporting to management Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer quality standards Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies Experience working with ISO 9001 standards Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, or Six Sigma would be advantageous What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 – £50,000 Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career development and progression Supportive and collaborative working environment To apply, please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
