Your New Job:

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a central role in supporting quality standards across the site. Working closely with different teams, you’ll manage everything from validations and equipment calibrations to risk management and continuous improvement projects. This position reports to the Site Quality Manager and involves collaborating with a variety of departments to ensure compliance and excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality support throughout the site, focusing on maintaining quality management systems
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, EU IVDR, and relevant regulations
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections across the organisation
  • Develop and implement SOPs, validation protocols, and risk assessments
  • Manage equipment qualification, validation, and calibration
  • Oversee monitoring systems and conduct quality assurance for materials and products
  • Lead and document quality risk management activities
  • Drive initiatives for ongoing improvement in manufacturing, maintenance, and quality systems
  • Take charge of quality-related projects as assigned

What Are We Looking For?

  • Third level qualification in science, quality, or related discipline (advantageous: microbiology or validation qualification)
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing setting (GMP/GDP, EU IVDR/MDR, ISO standards)
  • Familiarity with risk management (ISO 14971 preferred)
  • Proven record supporting validation activities and investigations
  • Project management skills and, preferably, auditor certification
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced context
  • Willingness to travel for supplier audits if needed
