The Opportunity\n

A large international organisation is looking for a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to join its Professional Services team on an initial 12-month contract.

\n

This is a hands‑on technical position for an engineer who knows how to build, optimise and troubleshoot enterprise Modern Workspace environments.

\n

The focus is delivery - taking complex Modern Workplace requirements and turning them into stable, scalable solutions across Citrix, VDI, cloud infrastructure, identity, networking and user experience.

What You'll Be Doing\n

\n
• Take technical ownership of Modern Workplace and EUC project delivery
\n
• Design and implement enterprise Citrix environments
\n
• Build and optimise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
\n
• Work with Citrix Cloud / DaaS environments
\n
• Configure and manage NetScaler / ADC
\n
• Design and troubleshoot FSLogix and Citrix profile solutions
\n
• Work across Active Directory and Group Policy environments
\n
• Support VDI storage architecture and performance
\n
• Work with Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files
\n
• Troubleshoot networking, connectivity and application delivery issues
\n
• Monitor and optimise the end‑user experience using Citrix Director / Analytics and DEX tooling
\n
• Integrate Modern Workplace platforms with Microsoft identity and security services
\n
• Produce technical designs, implementation documentation and handover material
\n
• Work alongside architects, project managers and customer engineering teams
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• 5+ years' hands‑on experience across Citrix / EUC / Modern Workplace
\n
• Strong enterprise Citrix engineering experience
\n
• Proven experience delivering technical projects rather than purely BAU support
\n
• Strong understanding of AD, GPO, networking and storage
\n
• Experience with FSLogix and profile management
\n
• Comfortable troubleshooting complex technical environments
\n
• Strong technical documentation skills
\n
• Professional Services or consulting experience
\n
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
\n
• Current Citrix certification such as CCP‑V, CCE‑V, CCA‑AppDS or CCP‑AppDS
\n
