Job Description

This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented Manager to lead all quality-related functions at our Company. The QC Manager will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of precision machining and inspection/testing methods.

Education, Qualifications & Work Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. An advanced degree or quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) are an advantage.
2. 10+ years experience in quality management in manufacturing, preferably at a heavy engineering OEM. Experience in heavy rotating machinery, bearings, or precision mechanical components is highly desirable.
3. Strong knowledge of Engineering Drawings and Quality Standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and GD&T principles.
4. Proficiency in using quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
5. Experience with precision measurement equipment and CMM programming.
6. Proven experience leading or supervising quality teams, including coaching, training, and performance management.
7. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills..

Preferred Skills:

1. Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Lean methodologies.
2. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for data tracking and reporting.
3. Experience with advanced quality planning (APQP) and statistical quality control (SQC).
