Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview: We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with around 2 years of experience who can ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role involves building automation frameworks, validating APIs and databases, and actively contributing across the Software Development and Testing Life Cycles (SDLC & STLC). Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Java with Selenium or Playwright • Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman • Conduct database validation using SQL/PLSQL • Work with testing frameworks like Cucumber and TestNG • Identify, log, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution • Ensure product quality throughout SDLC and STLC • Manage code versioning using Git and handle build tools like Maven or Gradle Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation and Manual Testing • Strong knowledge of Java programming • Experience with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG • Hands-on experience in API testing (Rest Assured, Postman) • Strong understanding of SQL/PLSQL for database testing • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, Maven, Gradle • Knowledge of manual testing, API testing, and database validation
