QEHS Manager

We are looking for an experienced QEHS Manager to lead and continuously improve our Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) performance across all operations in India. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying QEHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a culture of quality and safety, and driving sustainable operational excellence.

Working closely with Plant Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will provide governance, coaching, and expertise to ensure consistent execution of quality and EHS standards across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the QEHS strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Drive customer quality excellence through complaint management, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and audit support.
• Strengthen supplier quality performance through qualification, assessment, and corrective action programs.
• Lead EHS programs, risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and legal compliance initiatives.
• Drive environmental compliance and sustainability programs focused on waste, energy, water, and emissions reduction.
• Manage internal and external audits and maintain certification readiness (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Define and monitor QEHS KPIs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote best practice sharing across sites.
• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and EHS teams while building organizational capability.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• 11-15 years of experience in QEHS, Quality, or EHS leadership roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Multi-site management experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing audits, certifications, and management systems.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management tools such as PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Solid expertise in EHS risk management, contractor safety, machine safety, LOTO, and incident investigation.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and managing KPI-driven performance systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix organization.
• Pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and coaching capabilities.
