Purpose This role manages testing activities of products or solutions to ensure that the quality is compliant with standards and to meet customer requirements.
Key Missions We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer (Software Tester) cum Data Analyst with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing and Data Analysis. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. Key roles and responsibilities include: Understand requirements and contribute to test planning and estimation.
Design, write, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications. Identify bugs and issues, report them clearly using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA). Conduct smoke, regression, integration, and functional testing.
Collaborate with developers and QA team to reproduce and debug issues. Update and maintain test documentation and logs. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Learn and gradually contribute to automation efforts, if applicable. Required Skills and Qualifications: B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual testing preferred).
Basic knowledge of QA processes, SDLC, and STLC. Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
Understanding of web/Window application testing. Understanding of web/Window service testing. Good communication and documentation skills.
Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies. Data Analysis Collect, clean, and interpret test data to identify trends and anomalies. Use statistical methods and visualization tools to provide insights into product quality and performance.
Develop dashboards and reports to communicate test results to stakeholders. Support root cause analysis using data-driven approaches. Good understanding of databases and writing SQL queries.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter). Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Profile & Other Information
