About This Job

We're hiring Python/Django developers who can write clean, working code and solve problems independently.

This role is open to:

• Final-year students or recent graduates with strong fundamentals and solid personal/academic Django projects
• Developers with up to 3 years of hands-on professional experience

We're also building a team ready for modern, AI-native development — so along with strong Python and Django skills, we're looking for people open to learning AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI tools as our team adopts them.

What You Will Do

• Build backend systems using Python, Django, Django REST Framework, and other tools as needed
• Write clean, working, scalable code — and be able to explain your choices
• Build and manage REST APIs
• Fix and improve existing systems
• Contribute to the structure and design of application features
• Work with other teams to understand requirements and propose the right technical solutions
• Integrate AI tools to improve development workflows as they're introduced

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience with Python and Django (via work, internships, or strong personal/academic projects)
• Working knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF) for building APIs
• Experience with at least one database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Comfortable with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
• Basic comfort with shell scripting and the Linux command line
• Understanding of REST API design principles
• Strong CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; learns new technologies quickly
• Sincere, self-motivated, good communicator and team player
• Curious about AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI, and open to learning these tools

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with authentication standards like OAuth2 and JWT
• Exposure to application/server architecture, especially cloud environments
• Knowledge of design patterns and operating systems concepts
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, or Grafana
