Job title: Electrician
Location: RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA
Pay Rate: $55 per hour
Position Type: Casual
We are currently seeking experienced Electricians based at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile defense site, delivering quality electrical installation and commissioning works.
Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical drawings and cable schedules
- Install cable tray systems
- Install electrical and control cabling
- Perform cable terminations
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities, primarily on control cabling
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to project specifications
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
Qualifications
- Current A-Class Electrical License
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and cable schedules
- Proven experience with cable tray installation, cable installation, terminations, and testing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively within a project team
- Defense experience is advantageous but not essential
