The Role
You will be working closely with our Head of Public Sector Services and Economics and the wider team in a role that offers variety, learning, and hands‑on experience across multiple projects. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, is curious about different industries, and is motivated by helping solve real client challenges. You will play an important supporting role in research, analysis, tender preparation, and project delivery, while developing strong working relationships and contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in delivering economic and business analysis projects across a range of industries, including agri‑food, SMEs, the public sector, and other commercial areas.
- Help identify and understand client challenges by gathering information, conducting preliminary analysis, and contributing ideas to evidence‑based solutions.
- Carry out market research and assist with financial, economic, and policy analysis, including data collection, basic modelling, and summarising key findings.
- Assist with preparing public sector tender applications, including compiling required documentation and coordinating inputs from the wider team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support the delivery of consulting assignments from start to finish.
- Support business development activities, such as helping draft proposal sections, conducting background research, and joining internal discussions on potential client opportunities.
- Providing general administrative support for ad hoc duties such as AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance, Invoicing and more.
You Will Have
- 1–2 years in an analytical, research, consulting, or business support role, ideally involving data analysis, market research, or report preparation.
- Relevant third-level qualification in economics, business, finance or related discipline (postgraduate and/or professional qualifications a plus).
- Experience working in a professional services environment (consulting, advisory, public-sector projects) is beneficial but not essential.
- Exposure to economic, financial, or policy analysis through internships, graduate programmes, or academic projects.
- Experience handling administrative or compliance tasks (e.g., invoicing, AML checks) is a plus.
- Experience collaborating in team-based projects, either academically or professionally.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot, Claude AI or other.
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
