Role Overview The Project Manager Lead is an Information Technology (IT) position that will provide oversight, guidance and support to program and project managers. This role must be familiar with industry leading project management methodologies and governance processes that facilitate the delivery of successful projects. The focus of this role will be to provide leadership to experienced program and project managers and offer guidance on project management functions, as needed.

Additionally, this role will provide support and offer best practices on the project management methodology and tool set used in the Project Management Office. Responsibilities Lead and manage experienced program and project managers. Provide guidance and leadership to keep projects on track and focused.

Apply general IT SDLC processes to project execution. Implement Enterprise Systems Integration projects. Create and maintain project artifacts including project timeline, risk & issue log, communication plan, stakeholder register, and others.

Prepare and present executive‑level project communications, tracking and stakeholder management. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues. Serve as a hands‑on leader for project managers.

Facilitate large group meetings with internal and external resources. Collaborate with technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications and supporting documents. Act as a creative thinker to solve issues and mediate business units with conflicting requirements.

Drive systems integration delivery projects from third‑party vendors to delivery acceptance and project closure. Ensure successful delivery of vendor contract deliverables. Document AS‑IS and TO‑BE process flows, gather requirements from business divisions, and educate business unit staff on standardized processes.

Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills across all stakeholder levels. Qualifications Extensive experience leading and managing seasoned program and project management staff. Experience in business process creation, requirements gathering, and documentation.

Proven record in delivering project scope while optimizing schedule, cost and resources. Experience working with vendors to ensure successful delivery of contract deliverables. Experience with one or more of the State of Texas government agencies (preferred).

Experience with multivendor and software professional services for communication service providers or enterprise customers (preferred). PMP certification is a plus, along with virtualization and networking technology certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
