Project Manager – Fleet Dilapidation

Are you an experienced Rail Project Manager?
Do you have previous Fleet Dilapidation knowledge?

If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client who are looking for a Project Manager to join their team located in Norwich to oversee a Fleet Dilapidation project on a 3-month contract basis paying £338.85 per day (PAYE) or £450 (umbrella/LTD rate).

Key Accountabilities:

Management of the Dilapidations programme for the train fleet at Norwich Crown Point Depot and Clacton Light Maintenance Depot.

Plan for the maximum number of defects to be closed by early October, without affecting daily services

Monitoring progress and management of the Stadler dilapidations work and reporting back to senior management.

Carrying out quality inspections of pre work and completed works, to ensure glass case is complied with (but not over and above). This is expected to be at 08:00am each Monday to allow for maximum time for programme works.

What we require?

Inspection of rolling stock, in particular paint (required)

Project Management experience within rail, in particular fleet projects (required)

Previous dilapidation work within other rail providers (required)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to influence all internal stakeholders and external bodies
