Position Overview:

• Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage Phase 1 and 2 of new proposed major projects and programs on behalf of a project sponsor.
• The ideal consultant will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project initiation and planning.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development of proposals for new major projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and oversee the completion of Phase 1 (Initiation) and Phase 2 (Planning) activities, including feasibility studies, project scoping, and resource planning.
• Work closely with the project sponsor to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, business cases, and detailed project plans.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or success.
• Prepare and present project proposals, status updates, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the proposal development process.
• Track and report on project progress, including key milestones, deliverables, and budget status.
  
  

Skills:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on proposal development and early-stage project planning.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within established deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in the energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
  
  

Pay Rate:

$50 - $55 / Hour
