JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects within a fast-paced service provider environment.

This role combines project leadership, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are executed effectively—on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager plays a key role in managing infrastructure-based initiatives such as cloud migrations, networking upgrades, data center deployments, and managed services engagements. This role involves overseeing all phases of project execution, from initial scoping and planning through implementation and closure.

The Project Manager works closely with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to coordinate activities, align deliverables with business objectives, and ensure that all project elements are tracked and reported accurately. The individual must be capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, engaging cross-functional teams, and applying proven project management methodologies. The Project Manager must bring a blend of strong leadership, financial understanding, and communication skills to drive successful outcomes in both structured and rapidly changing environments.

JOB DUTIES Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation, using EchoStor’s standardized project management methodology. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, managing communications, expectations, and escalations. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change logs.

Manage project scope and proactively identify and resolve potential risks, conflicts, and schedule impacts; initiate contingency planning as needed. Ensure compliance with contracts and coordinate with finance and legal teams as appropriate for billing, invoicing, and change management. Monitor project progress and generate regular status reports and executive updates for stakeholders.

Lead internal project team meetings and client-facing status calls, maintaining visibility of deliverables and accountability across teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources across different time zones to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Manage the lifecycle of incidents and change orders within assigned projects, ensuring accurate tracking, escalation, and resolution.

Contribute to project financial tracking, including budget adherence and cost reporting, in coordination with finance and operations teams. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, business, project management, accounting, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within a service provider or consulting environment.

At least 4 years of experience working with IT functional teams and stakeholders across technical disciplines. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale, high-profile infrastructure or technology projects concurrently. Expertise in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and change control.

Strong budgeting and financial acumen, including experience managing to contract terms and financial constraints. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership and technical teams.

Experience handling conflict resolution and holding team members accountable for delivery and quality standards. Flexibility to work with distributed teams across U.S. and international time zones. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS PMP® certification or equivalent project management credential.

Agile or Scrum Master certification and experience. 5+ years of project management experience with infrastructure-based projects (cloud, networking, data center, etc.). Experience working in a professional services consulting organization. Familiarity with managed, hosted, and premise-based IT service models.
