Job Description

The Manager, Project (Telecommunications Wireline) owns the end-to-end execution of the Telecom Disconnect Initiative , ensuring delivery of program milestones and realization of targeted cost savings. This role provides leadership, governance, and oversight across cross‑functional teams, including Sourcing, Digital, Field, and Supplier partners. The Project Manager is responsible for managing staff, scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, reporting, and executive communications, while ensuring accurate execution of disconnect and replacement activities across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end Telecom Disconnect Initiative, ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and savings targets. Manage and supervise a team of 8 Telecom Analysts responsible for enterprise-wide inventory analysis, billing review, and service disconnect or replacement recommendations. Coordinate across Sourcing, Digital, Field Management, Telecom, and Supplier teams to align priorities and execution plans.

Oversee submission and execution of disconnect and replacement activities and ensure accurate tracking of realized savings. Own project governance, reporting, and executive communications, providing clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.

Detailed Responsibilities Provide direct leadership and oversight to the Telecom Disconnect Team, including workload management, prioritization, and performance support. Ensure accurate identification of disconnect and replacement opportunities based on inventory, usage, and billing analysis. Manage project timelines, scope, risks, and interdependencies across multiple workstreams.

Establish and maintain structured reporting, dashboards, and governance forums to track execution and savings realization. Deliver regular status updates and executive‑level communications to senior leadership and stakeholders. Ensure savings targets and program milestones are achieved and accurately reflected in reporting tools.

Drive consistent execution standards and continuous improvement across the disconnect program. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience , including substantial experience in team leadership and project management roles. Demonstrated experience with legacy telecommunications services , including analog dial tone and data circuits.

Strong technical understanding of telecom billing, invoicing, and inventory management. Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Self‑motivated, proactive problem solver with excellent organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior and executive stakeholders.
