Whyte Civil is a trusted name in civil utility contracting, specialising in water and sewer infrastructure across New South Wales and Queensland. Due to sustained growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, we’re expanding our team and looking for a Project Engineer who’s ready to make an impact.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer at Whyte Civil, you’ll play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of water and sewer projects. You’ll be working closely with experienced project managers and site teams to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and reporting
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Monitor quality, safety, and environmental standards on-site
  • Prepare documentation including ITPs, RFIs, and progress claims
  • Support in procurement and cost control
  • Solve day-to-day engineering challenges and drive efficiencies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar)
  • 2+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure, ideally in water and sewer works
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsA team player with a hands‑on approach and attention to detail
