Linehaul Driver

McNaughts Transport is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Linehaul Driver to join our growing team. This is a full-time, salary-based position offering the flexibility to be based in one of our key locations: Dubbo Region, Toowoomba, or Brisbane. You will operate late-model automatic or manual vehicles and be supported by a professional operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pickups and deliveries of general freight, consisting mainly of pallets/skids and IBC's or interbranch shuttle work (there is a requirement to load and unload
• Linehaul work across Australia – predominantly between South East Qld – central West NSW and into Melbourne/ Victoria
• Safely transport dangerous goods in compliance with DG regulations
• Complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs
• Work closely with the dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient scheduling

Requirements:

• Valid MC driver's license
• Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and reliable work ethic
• Knowledge of COR, BFM, and load restraint guidelines
• Be well-presented, punctual, and flexible to changing work requirements
• Be efficient in completing necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
• Previous experience in linehaul or interstate transport operations
• Familiarity with QLD and NSW routes
• Experience with late-model Kenworth (manual) or similar manual vehicles
• Holding a forklift license
• Dangerous Goods accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Modern, well-maintained Kenworth vehicles
• Ongoing training and accreditation support
