Job Description

Project Engineer - VDC The Project Engineer - VDC supports the Virtual Design and Construction team by assisting with BIM coordination, model management, and data tracking for active construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a foundation in VDC, construction technology, and design coordination while working closely with experienced VDC and project teams. Reports to: VDC Manager Direct Reports: None Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the role's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list.

As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed. Assist with maintaining BIM models and coordination files under guidance from VDC leadership. Support clash detection efforts and help document design and coordination issues.

Assist with setting up projects in Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms. Help prepare models, screenshots, markups, and reports for coordination meetings. Track and update BIMrelated RFIs, observations, and coordination items in Procore.

Support preparation of meeting minutes and actionitem tracking for coordination meetings. Assist with distributing models and documentation to project and field teams. Support field coordination by helping resolve modelrelated questions and issues.

Assist with preparing models for use on iPads and other field tools. Learn and follow Landmark's VDC standards, workflows, and best practices. Support ongoing improvements to VDC processes and documentation.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, construction technology, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 0-3 years of experience in construction, design, BIM, or VDC preferred. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of construction documents and terminology.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and trade partners. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
