For one of our clients, a leading specialist in electrical engineering solutions for the maritime industry, we are looking for a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to work on a long-term shipbuilding program for one of the world's leading cruise operators.
What will you do?
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects, with project values ranging from €4M to €6M per vessel. From engineering and design to commissioning, you will play a key role in delivering technically advanced passenger ships.
- Design and engineer complete electrical installations
- Develop lighting, automation, power distribution, and navigation systems
- Prepare technical documentation and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and production teams
- Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting onboard
- Act as the main technical point of contact throughout the project
- Ensure technical quality, planning, and engineering standards
What are we looking for?
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer
- Background in industrial, marine, offshore, or electrical engineering projects
- Strong ownership mentality and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within complex projects
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
- Experience with maritime electrical systems, automation, navigation systems, power management, or shipbuilding is a strong advantage
