Are you ready to take technical ownership of multi-million-euro engineering projects and contribute to the next generation of luxury river cruise vessels?

For one of our clients, a leading specialist in electrical engineering solutions for the maritime industry, we are looking for a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to work on a long-term shipbuilding program for one of the world's leading cruise operators.

What will you do?

As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects, with project values ranging from €4M to €6M per vessel. From engineering and design to commissioning, you will play a key role in delivering technically advanced passenger ships.

  • Design and engineer complete electrical installations
  • Develop lighting, automation, power distribution, and navigation systems
  • Prepare technical documentation and specifications
  • Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and production teams
  • Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting onboard
  • Act as the main technical point of contact throughout the project
  • Ensure technical quality, planning, and engineering standards

What are we looking for?

  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer
  • Background in industrial, marine, offshore, or electrical engineering projects
  • Strong ownership mentality and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within complex projects
  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Experience with maritime electrical systems, automation, navigation systems, power management, or shipbuilding is a strong advantage
