Start your K&A Career: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Controls Analyst to join our team at K&A Engineering in Spring Valley, New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated. Role Expectations: Review and document current key reporting processes undertaken by the Project & Program Controls group. Observe all pertinent reporting-related meetings throughout the term of engagement.
Meet, regularly, with the relevant Managers of Project & Program Controls to review key findings from engagement as well as key observations and risks found during project update meetings. Develop a comprehensive reporting solution that consolidates reporting needs and automates as many functions as possible. Meet, regularly, with the relevant Managers of Project & Program Controls to review and recommend incorporation of best practices for consolidating and automating various reports and presentations.
Process/report documentation and training materials. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical discipline Proven track record of managing project controls for large-scale utility projects. Experience with Power Generation, Transmission Line, and substation-related projects.
Must be able to independently generate reporting and conduct analysis. Must have experience using Scheduling Tools and Software Required experience in SAP, SharePoint, SQL, Excel, PowerBI, and Maximo Proficient in project management and schedule analysis Excellent communication skills and computer skills. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills.
Demonstrated strong leadership potential and accountability. This is a hybrid role, must be able to travel to the Spring Valley, New York office weekly. Pay Range $90,000—$115,000 annually Why Join K&A?

The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to technical ability, experience and training, licenses and certifications, and other related skillsets.
