Program Manager — Aerospace Avionics (Next-Gen Systems) Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States Work Type: Hybrid | Full-time Overview A Program Manager role responsible for leading the delivery of complex aerospace avionics programs, with a strong focus on software lifecycle management, program execution, and cross‑functional alignment. This position drives end‑to‑end program performance, ensuring delivery against strategic, technical, and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Execution Lead and oversee the execution of complex, multi‑stakeholder aerospace programs Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget using structured program management methodologies Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track and optimize program performance Software Program Management Manage the full software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and maturity progression Drive software readiness, release maturity, and transition from development to formal deployment Oversee issue tracking, resolution processes, and continuous improvement of software quality Strategy & Performance Management Align program delivery with strategic objectives and business priorities Develop and implement performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and improvement initiatives Monitor data accuracy, program health, and key performance indicators Risk, Quality & Compliance Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal processes Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and operational excellence Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with engineering, product, quality, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes Lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment, ensuring alignment and clear communication Leadership & Development Provide guidance and mentorship to program and engineering teams Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams Required Experience & Qualifications 5 years of program management experience or related roles Minimum 3 years’ experience in the aerospace industry Strong experience managing complex, customer‑facing programs Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering) PMP or equivalent project/program management certification Experience in global, matrixed organizations Strong influencing, negotiation, and change management skills Key Competencies Program & portfolio management Software lifecycle management Strategic thinking & execution Risk & performance management Cross‑functional leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
