Program Manager - GCP Cloud Migration (Austin)

Job Title: Program / Project Manager – GCP Cloud Migration Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) Experience: 12–15+ Years (5+ Years as Program/Project Manager) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to lead large-scale cloud transformation and migration initiatives, focused on migrating legacy telecom applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . This role will drive end-to-end delivery of complex cloud migration programs while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end GCP cloud migration programs within the telecom domain. Drive the full migration lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery, and post-migration stabilization . Define migration strategy, scope, timelines, governance, and success metrics with business and technical stakeholders. Manage risks, dependencies, compliance, and governance frameworks for secure migrations. Ensure interoperability of migrated workloads with legacy systems and support operational readiness. Monitor program performance and provide regular executive updates. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the migration lifecycle.

Technical Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering large-scale GCP cloud migration programs . Strong understanding of GCP services: Compute Engine Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Expertise in cloud migration strategies: Lift & Shift Re-platforming Re-architecting Experience with cloud governance, risk, and compliance . Telecom experience preferred, including knowledge of OSS/BSS platforms and network applications .
