Purpose
The purpose of the Program Analyst role is to analyse deficiencies through root cause methodology and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency in order to meet performance metrics and Delivery on Time objectives.
Position Overview
The Program Analyst reviews enterprise and project data to assist in improvements to programs function’s performance within EOS Defence Systems Australia. They evaluate existing programs, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies as directed by the Programs Operations Planning Manager to increase efficiency and effectiveness against project milestones. This role involves data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and review of schedules, risk/issues registers, reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Primary Duties
- Analysis: Evaluating program data, processes, and performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Strategy Development: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with various stakeholders to gather requirements, assess needs, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Reporting and Communication: Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to management and stakeholders.
- Schedule Management: Creation & maintenance of project schedules, delivery plans in accordance with contract requirements.
- Governance: Creation & maintenance of programs governance improvements in accordance with business requirements as directed by the Programs Operations Planning Manager.

Requirements
- Australian Citizenship.
- Australian Defence Security Clearance or an ability to obtain one.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role supporting large‑scale programs (not just single projects), ideally involving multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret program data, with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint & Excel for reporting, dashboards, and insights.
- Experience working in PMO environments.
- Experience in Defence sector desirable.
