Scope of Work The scope of work for the IR-NIYANTRAC project includes the following key components as outlined. Installation of IoT Devices: Provision and installation of IoT devices for monitoring and controlling electrical general assets, such as lifts, yard lighting, substations, and platform lighting, Water tank monitoring. Integration with IR-NIYANTRAC Cloud: Intelligent Field Devices (IFDs) must securely connect via GPRS/4G/5G to the IR-NIYANTRAC platform developed by the Center for Railway Information System (CRIS).

Devices must support communication protocols like MQTT and ensure secure data exchange. Energy Management: IFDs should facilitate energy usage monitoring, reporting, and alerts for various electrical assets, supporting real-time data visualization and control via a web interface. Technical Specifications Compliance: Devices must comply with Indian electrical standards and specific guidelines, including AC/DC power supply with battery backup, energy metering, and remote monitoring/control capabilities.

Maintenance and Support: Includes a 2-year warranty followed by 3 years of technical support, with quarterly payments. This encompasses firmware updates, cybersecurity adherence, and hardware maintenance. Operational Responsibilities: Includes the commissioning and testing of installed devices, ensuring seamless functionality with the IR-NIYANTRAC platform and training of railway personnel.

Job Responsibility, The job responsibilities of the Project Manager would typically include: Project Planning and Execution: Develop and oversee the project plan, ensuring timely completion of the work, including the provision of IoT devices for monitoring and controlling electrical general assets like lifts, yard lighting, and substations. Technical Oversight: Ensure all technical requirements and specifications outlined in the tender document are met. This includes compliance with standards, installation, and commissioning of IoT devices.

Resource Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and team members to manage resources efficiently. Monitoring and Reporting: Supervise the execution of work, track progress, and prepare periodic reports for stakeholders, including the Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety precautions, as specified in the contract, and compliance with relevant Indian Railways guidelines and policies. Work Experience: 7-10 Years, Qualifications, Bachelor in electrical/Electronics Engineering. BE (E/ELE)
