Role Description The Product Owner role is a full-time hybrid position based in Mississauga, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. The Product Owner will define and prioritize product backlogs, translate business needs into clear user stories and requirements, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Daily activities include gathering and analyzing feedback, refining product roadmaps, validating features through testing and review, and ensuring that deliverables meet customer and business objectives.
The role also involves monitoring product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting communication and alignment across teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Management skills, including backlog ownership, roadmap planning, and stakeholder alignment.
- Robust Analytical Skills and Business Analysis abilities to interpret data, define requirements, and support decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate meetings and presentations.
- Understanding of Software Development processes, agile methodologies, and working with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience in a Product Owner or similar role within a software or SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with real estate or enterprise software platforms is an asset.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid setting, managing priorities and time effectively.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
