Procurement Consultant (Plano)

Procurement Consultant (IT Indirect Procurement – Facilities Management) Location : Plano, TX Duration: 12-Month Contract Work Model: Hybrid Onsite: Every Tuesday (and as needed) Remote: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Key Responsibilities Lead and execute category sourcing strategies for indirect spend, especially facilities management. Manage end-to-end sourcing events including RFP, RFI, RFQ processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and identify sourcing opportunities.

Support contract development and execution, including: NDAs Professional Services Agreements SaaS and Software License Agreements Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings and manage risk. Utilize Ariba P2P/PTP system to review requests and issue purchase orders. Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Troubleshoot procurement or system-related issues and implement solutions. Maintain documentation to ensure alignment with business requirements and compliance. Required Qualifications (Must-Have Skills) Hands-on experience with Ariba P2P/PTP system (mandatory) Strong experience in procurement and strategic sourcing Proven ability to manage RFP/RFI/RFQ processes Experience in indirect procurement (facilities, IT services, or similar) Strong negotiation and contract management skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Indirect Sourcing Experience in facilities management procurement Contract drafting and negotiation experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field Experience working in large, cross-functional teams Automotive industry experience (nice to have)
