About the job Psychiatric Nursing Assistant Job Requirements for all candidates: - Attends to work on a regular basis - Must be at least 21 years of age - Must have a valid Driver's License - Graduation from a standard senior high School or equivalent - Must be able to pass CPR and TIPS (Trauma Intervention Protection Strategies) - Prefer experience in direct client care. - Basic computer skills Duties of Direct Care PNA - Provide direct care of clients (emergency, health and personal care). - Provide therapeutic interactions with clients. - Monitor during meals and activities. - Monitor clients psychiatric symptoms or health state and document in records as needed. - Document Clients behaviors and interactions. - Performs other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager and/or Resident Specialist V. Other: - COVID-19 testing with negative result required (facility provides) - Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check (Relode provides) - Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (facility provides) Current Open Shifts: - 6:45am-3:15pm - 2:45pm-11:15pm **Please verify that Candidate is available for 10 consecutive days of training, M-F, 8-5 (this is non-negotiable).
