Nestasia is hiring Print Designer Location: Kolkata Experience: 1.5 – 4 Years About the Role :We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Print Designe r to join our in-house design team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in print desig n with prior experience in relevant industry, specifically in the bedsheet categor y. Familiarity with both soft and hard furnishing s is essential, as well as a good understanding of the retail landscape and consumer preferences .Key Responsibilities :Develop creative and trend-forward print design s for bedsheets and other home furnishing categories (e.g., curtains, cushions, table linens) .Translate global and domestic trends into commercial designs suited for the retail market .Work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines .Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output .Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive innovation in design .Prepare mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats for presentations and approvals .Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs .Key Requirements :1.5 – 2 year s of hands-on experience in textile/print desig n, preferably in an export hous e .Expertise in bedsheet desig n and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishing s .Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software .Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition .Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders .Degree in Textile/Fashion Design from NIFT, NI D, or other reputed design institutions (preferred) .
