Job Description
Print Canvas Finishing Operator required to work in Sheffield, onsite @ my clients manufacturing Company. Please note: you must have full working rights to work in the UK as no sponsorship offered. This role is permanent and shifts either 06:00 - 13:30 and the other shift is 10:30 - 18:00.
Key Responsibilities Finishing: Operate Kongsbergs & Fotoba cutting tables: Set up and calibrate cutters to produce high-quality canvas products maintaining consistency and quality. Match the cut prints with job-sheets and organise by size and separate for different clients. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cutters to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Physical Stamina: Standing for long periods and handling heavy canvasrolls, requiring good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. General To comply with the Companys Health & Safety and Quality & Environmental Management System policies and procedures To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner Skills required: A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar Print role. Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
Skills/Knowledge Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Good personal time management, planning and organisational skills required to manage competing demands and priorities. Attention to Detail: Strong eye for colour accuracy, alignment, and print quality.
